Yorkshire Based Web Development Case Study - Chameleon Luxury Chauffeur Services
Brief
Chameleon Luxury Chauffeur Services approached GotFocus Solutions with two requirements.
The first was the requirement for a commercial website which described their services and showed
images of their fleet.
The second requirement was for a case management system which allowed the drivers
to manage their bookings and timetable accordingly. Bookings go through several
stages during their lifecycle:
- Verbal Booking
- Confirmation
- Fulfilled
- Invoice Sent
- Renumerated
All of these stages were to provide automatic document production and accounting
functionality.
The software also required a contacts database for mail merge when producing automatic
promotional material for e-mail and postal campaigns during quiet periods.

The Chameleon corporate website is a fully hosted solution designed and built by
us. Our client enjoys 99.9% uptime and has his own Google Analytics
account so that he can keep track of his visitors.
The site is built entirely to
W3C
standards for accessibility,
CSS
and
XHTML.
Case Management System
The case management software we developed for Chameleon fulfilled all our client
requirements.
The microsoft office integration has lead the client to acheive new custom from
the campaign letter generation functionality.
Technology
The website is provided in Microsoft .NET 2.0 using the C# language. It is supported
by a SQL Server 2008 database.
The case management system is provided using a .NET 2.0 Windows application with
a support SQL Server Express database and Microsoft Office 2008 libraries for document
production.
